| Detailed Description: | At Trillium we aim to provide a well planned and stimulating Montessori environment that can help all children develop an outstanding foundation for creative learning.
We are conviently located on the beautiful Merrion Square. Our classroom is bright and spacious specially designed to appeal to all children.
We have a great garden that we use daily. Weather Permitting!!
Trillium Montessori is named after the trillium flower. This flower flurishes best when allowed to grow naturally. Each leaf stands for the main areas of Montessori - Environment, Method and the Teacher.
We follow the Maria Montessori Method of education. Montessori designed special self correcting materials which are used to aid the child's development and independance. Montessori's method emphasizes hands on, individualised learning within mixed age groups in child friendly settings.
Our aim for each child is to develop a confident attitude towards learning. We help all children to improve their self confidence and build independance. We let all children develop at their own pace.
At Trillium Montessori we offer two Montessori sessions.
9.00am - 1.00pm and 1.30pm - 4.30pm.
Our school opens from September to June with camps through out the year and summer camps in July and August.
Children between 2 years and 6 months and 5 years are welcome.
All staff are qualified.
ECCE places available
We cover a new Theme each week. The weekly theme will be posted on the notice board . The children are active in deciding weekly themes. We cover themes and topics such as the solar system, life cycles, Dinosaurs, continents, art appreciation, on the farm etc.
Everything in the classroom is childsized and age appriopate.
